should focus on text book only or guides too ?

After seeing the questions that are asked during their terminals, I wonder whether she should focus on text book only or guides too. Sometimes, people say, questions are picked from guides.

Can you throw some light on this aspect?

The trends shows that mostly Text book (NCERT Book) questions (exercise and solved examples ) are being asked in CBSE Term-end annual exams. It is better to go for NCERT books first. You can practice sample papers and test papers after completion of your book. That's enough.

Even I think that things outside the NCERT books have been asked. But, we can do nothing else that referring umpteen sources of information and site of learning.

Ensure that you are first thorough with your base, your foundation i.e. the book prescribed by NCERT.
