Change of subject is not allowed in class 12. You can request your school authorities to apply Home Science as additional subject. In case your are allowed to take Home Science as 6th subject, you can absent in Maths exam and still you will be declared pass if you clears all 5 subjects.

(there are a little chances that your school will allow you to take home science as additional subject as you have not studied it in class 11th)

I never suggest you to leave Mathematics.Math is used in practically everything. Every facet of modern day human existence has something to do with math. From our jobs that we use it at, to everything we use and consume, math was used somewhere and somehow to produce the desired end result. And math is infallible, it's never wrong and it never changes. 5+5 will always be 10.
