Dear All,
i am a new member of this forum
Can you answer a question for me please.
tell me what are the reasons for which tungsten is used as a filament in an electric bulb?
Our text book says that tungsten has a high conductivity ; and a high resistivity.
How is this possible ?
My understanding was that any metal with a high conductivity has a low resistance ?
Can anyone help me with this ?
