Not prepared for additional subject - What to do ?

I had taken maths as an additional subject but i am not prepared for it yet.i took it because i heard that while getting admission in colleges maths students get some recession percentage.but i think i can score well in my regular subjects including physical education.now i think i should concentrate more on my regular subjects revision instead of doing new syllabus i.e maths syllabus.if i not give maths exam (additional subject) will it affect me during college admissions.

kindly advise me whether i should not give maths exam or the procedure to delete my name from filling maths as an additional subject in cbse or some other way out!!!

Now, there is no way to delete your name from filling maths as an additional subject in cbse as you have already filled examination form and paid fees. If you are not prepare for the exam, you should not appear for it. Your mark- sheet will have only -absent- mark and this will not affect you in future. The subject will not be mentioned in your class 12 CBSE Certificate as it shows the passed subjects only.

If you sit in exam and get less marks or fails in the additional subject it will be printed in your mark sheet.
