My name is Khalid, I'm living in Saudi Arabia, in area full of foreigners, most of them from India and Pakistan. I have a good relationship with them and we always talk about opening a school in this area which can serve them.

In view of the above, I'm currently collecting information about CBSE syllabus and I need your help to make our dream real. The following points describe the situation in my area which could help you in providing the most needed information:

* There is no international school in the area.
* There are about 30,000 foreigners in the area, 95% of them are males.
* According to a simple survey, there are 200 children are willing to join the school if opened.
* Children now studyng at homes, most of them in classes 1,2 &3.

Accordingly, I would like to know the following:

* What is CBSE syllabus?
* Is there any courses or seminars about CBSE syllabus?
* How can I determine the level of each student if he never studied in a school before?
* Can I join or be a member of any committee related to CBSE syllabus?
* Can I ask you more questions? If not, whom you refer me to?

Thanks for giving me your time in reading my message.

Your reply will be highly appreciated.

Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India is autonomous body under Government of India. It provides secondary ( 10th standard ) and Senior Secondary ( 12th standard) school level certificates and conducts annual examination for them. CBSE does not conduct examinations for primary and upper-primary ( elementary ) level but issues guidelines.

1. CBSE issues syllabus for only class 9th 10th 11th and 12th. the syllabus can be downloaded from the official site of CBSE or visit the links below:

2. there is no particular courses or seminars about CBSE syllabus but seminars are organized for teachers by the school authorities. The schools follow books written by NCERT ( Govt. Publisher ) or Private publishers which are written as the the CBSE syllabus. CBSE only conducts examination once a year in March-April.

3. For primary classes upto ( 5th standard ) a test is taken and student is given admission to the class as per his performance. there is age limit for each class as for class 1st the student must be between 5 to 7 years.

4. You can get your school affiliated with CBSE syllabus at the link below :
