my daughter could not do well in class x exam . She could secure only 66% average , but 90% in english and 80% in sst . She wants to do plus 2 in humanities . Can she able to crack IIT in humanities without maths knowledge ?

If your daughter's English and S.st is strong then she should go ahead with Humanities stream and can aim for Journalism/ Civil services. Without excellent achievement in mathematics it is impossible to crack IIT-JEE as maths is the main subject for this stream. But your daughter is very good in english and S.st so she should utilize her potential in some new profession as engineers and doctors are very common nowadays. Let her fly with her own colours.
